Friendly people. Separate dining room, though you can eat in the bar area. Abbott & Green King IPA plus usual keg offerings yet Newcastle Brown in bottles and unchilled, so full flavour. Brilliant!!
Victorian building. Plenty of parking. Worth the journey out from the A6. Tried it with my son for a quiet pint one weekend evening as I read it was a local CAMRA stopping off pub on one of their member trips.
